Edgerton.Life Pancreatic Cancer Foundation is a non-profit on a mission to spread awareness about the fight against pancreatic cancer. Andrew Edgerton was documenting his battle against pancreatic cancer and wanted to help educate others by sharing his story. Sadly, he passed away in 2017. The foundation's leadership is made up of close friends and family of Andrew. The foundation needed a logo design as well as a professional website that was easy to navigate so visitors could get information as well as donate to the cause. For the logo, they requested a simple, text-based design that nodded to their existing mark. I began by exploring a variety of fonts + weights, as well as treatment + placement of secondary information. Initial logo concepts. After talking through the concepts, a final logo mark was selected. I design all my logos to work in full color and white, so it can also be placed on color or over a photograph. Final logo design. Once the logo was completed, I began work on the website. The website primarily needed to share information and upcoming events, be visually appealing, and simple to navigate. I worked with existing imagery and utilized icons to help viewers immediately identify areas of information. It was an honor to partner with Edgerton.Life to create the branding and website they had envisioned to help spread Andrew's story and mission. I hope that this logo and website design assists in their success.
